I have a new custom domain and I’m looking into an email service for it. Already tried and cancelled hey.com. Fastmail looks good, but I don’t need calendar and contacts. Or, do I?

@kevrodg I use fastmail without calendars and contacts and still feel like I get my money’s worth out of it. Great service.

@kevrodg +1 what @craigmcclellan said. I used Hey since launch, but switched to Fastmail around the new year. Paid for three years up front and have been much happier. I only use Fastmail contacts as a way to build a Hey-like screener.

@craigmcclellan thanks. I’m trying the service and it’s great so far. Seems like a good value.

@kevrodg +1 for the Fastmail crew. Over a decade of happy service, with plenty of domains and assorted features. Not using their calendar and notes.

@kevrodg I use iCloud's custom domain service. Easy to setup. Very happy with it.

@crossingthethreshold I already have iCloud+, but somehow missed the custom domain feature. I’ll check that out. Thanks!
