@jtr I wondered what that "Activities" panel was for! Now I have all sorts of ideas on how to complicate my desktop environment, so thanks (I guess) :)

@jbaty haha you… welcome? Did you see the images I had, for the two activities?

@jtr The Emacs ones? Yes, which also has me thinking. I disliked KDE for like 4 days but I'm coming around to it. Mostly because I've been able to make things work, which is nice.

@jtr Nothing that specific, I guess. It's just that everything I needed to work, worked. Printer, scanner, sync, apps, etc. Stuff I installed worked without a fuss. The built-in apps are mostly fine. Coming from newer setups like Omarchy and Cosmic, it's been nice to have things feel finished. Hope that makes sense.

@jtr How goes Zen? I’m fairly happy with Brave, but it looks like Firefox/Mozilla is continuing down a bad path so maybe time to switch my backup browser.

@eludom It’s alright. Pretty functional, though different - if you tried Arc when it was around, it’s similar but supported better. It depends on what you’re used to and want. I’d say it’s a change from Firefox in terms of UI.
