@jtr Yeah, it's an ever-evolving process.
I guess a lot of it comes down to what you're trying to do.
For me, a benefit of the paper journal is therapeutic. Just me & the notebook & my thoughts. Can be-form. Some of those ideas turn into posts.

@jtr I fall into this loop all the time and for mostly all the same reasons. What do you use for digital journaling?
@ericmwalk It's an affliction called org-mode, which is a package inside Emacs. If you haven't heard of it... stay away. Trust me. It's a wormhole. That said, I've been using it for all my serious writing since 2018.
