I sometimes read Bernt Hansen’s “Org Mode – Organize Your Life In Plain Text” just for fun. It always reminds me that I know of no other personal productivity or note-taking system that comes close to what Org Mode can do.
@jack How do you handle access to notes on mobile? I noticed beorg looks interesting. I’m a vim user so am tempted to try spacemacs again...
@shano I really don't have much need to use Org on my phone, but Beorg has been very useful. Otherwise I just open them as text files using whatever Dropbox-aware editor I'm using. Not ideal, but works. I used Vim for years but Spacemacs really is best of both worlds IMO.
@jack Yeah the short time I spent playing around with spacemacs, it seemed really well designed and functional, a lot of very sane defaults. Hmm might starting playing around this weekend...
