@pratik Oh man, I’d never get them out! My brain trick was to say, “just write a sentence about the big things going on, so you can finally publish something”. You do have me thinking though…what if the /now page just pulled in anything tagged with now
. An idea for if/when I ever move completely over to Micro.blog.
@jarrod Technically, that's what I do. I have a category called 'Now'. Those posts appear only on my /Now page and skip the front page of my blog. I only display the most recent post in the 'now' category. I try to do it every month and divide it into personal and professional sections. I want to do it more often (weekly) but it always gets away from me.
@jarrod Another tip. I've a template in Drafts that I use to write the 'now' posts which have those sections defined and the date inserted at the top, etc. But of course, the hardest part is remembering to sit down and actually write the post ☺️
@pratik Oh, I'm a heavy user of templates in Drafts. But, you're right, I don't have one for /now.
@jarrod my now page is a post with category now and I select one post. I have considered changing to all posts with Now in the last month.
