Imagine the cool presence-based automations you could do with Apple HomeKit if they had an abandoned the Airport.

@sod as someone who lives in a city and does a lot of walking and has a three adult household— geofencing is useless, but identifying what devices are on wifi would be solid for presence indicators. I’m pretty sure wifi can do internal room location pretty reasonably.
@jsonbecker Ah, I see. There's a Wi-Fi trigger, but that might not be granular enough for your use case. Motions sensors are another alternative but at an additional cost. You're right; Airport presence detection would be cool.
@sod yeah there are some ways to get close, but I’m imaging a world where HomeKit accurately knows who is home.
