@SusanB a great word. I remember teaching The Dashing White Sergeant to my class of 11 year olds in Glasgow. I would call “1,2,3 nod” they had great delight in chanting “1, 2, 3, Stookie!”
@johnjohnston I bet that didn’t get old, ever. On a side note, I loved learning The Dashing White Sergeant when I was in primary school. It made me giddy—still does, to be honest.
