Microphone help!

I have sometimes recorded me talking to the kids but feel like a microphone would do a better job then my phone for recording us.

Any suggestions? Thank you

@Omrrc Depending on what your budget might be, the various options from Zoom would work great. If you go up to the H6 you can use it as a multi track recorder on your computer as well as a USB interface.

@jemostrom @iChris @johnjohnston Thanks all, I like the idea of having something I can plug into my iPhone but as John says how long I’ll be able to do that is the question!

@Omrrc @johnjohnston Oh yeah the MV8 is a great option for using with your iPhone. You can use any USB / USB-C device with your iPhone now. Here's how I do it with my Scarlett USB + Heil PR40 mic.
