Gorgeous 5 Km beach walk to start my Sunday. Thanks to all those on my overnight Micro.Blog timeline who mentioned going for a walk: it helped get me out of bed and into the frosty morning.
@Miraz looks lovely. We had blue skies and feels like summer 18 degrees here. Dawn at about 4:30 so easy to get out of bed.
@johnjohnston 1C when I headed out, wrapped up warm. It's just that initial reluctance… 😀 Seeing others talking about enjoying walks gave me the oomph!
@pratik It was a lovely walk. Thrilled to see the driftwood on the beach, even up quite close to the dunes — it helps trap sand and give shelter to various wildlife. It builds the beach.
@Miraz That looks gorgeous! It really is so hard to get up and go out on a frosty morning, but if you rug up well enough you can do it. (That said, I'm an afternoon walker myself… that morning chill is too much for me 🤣)
