Got a new pair of glasses with “office lenses” – which are progressive lenses prescribed for computer use and close vision instead of full distance and close vision. It’s awesome to not have to hot-swap glasses to look at my phone when sitting at my computer.

@jimmitchell I have a pair of these as well as standard varifocals. I'm still getting used to them though. If I stand up from my desk the lack of clear long sighted vision really messes with my head 🤣

@Davey I was using a pair dedicated solely to computer, so I’m comfortable with the long vision being blurred when I stand, but I totally get where you’re coming from. It is disorienting.

@jimmitchell I have a pair of glasses that are single vision for computer use -- halfway between my distance and reading -- and I love them

@john That’s what I’ve done for years, but the single vision computer glasses were not strong enough to view my phone in my hand, so I’d have to swap glasses to read Toots and texts. Now it’s just the right balance.
