Ok you gearheads. Riddle me this:

is there a good backpack with a backpack?

I’m thinking something like:

near backpack has clothes, etc. outer backpack has laptop etc.

This exists for outdoors (I can put my little dayhiker on my backpacking pack), but I’m not sure if a good traveler version exists?

@todd

Osprey assumes this setup with their travel packs. You start with something like the Farpoint, then attach a Daylight Plus to the front when traveling, detach it for daypack use.

That what you have in mind?

Well, there you go. Same system for travel.

Looks like REI also makes one:

The Ruckpack 18 can attach to the front, and it's got a zip cover for the harness for when you need to check it.

@johnchandler sweet. I guess I didn’t realize they made good travel packs, too.
