Say it with me again: Google isn’t, and perhaps never will be, a Product company. Also: end-to-end encryption is a requirement for messaging these days! What are they thinking?

@cleverdevil Basically they're making Hangouts again and keeping almost all of their other messaging services - according to JRRaphael

On my Pixel 2 here are the Google messaging apps right now: Allo (I have never used, downloaded to check it out) Duo (because video chat might be cool for me some day) Hangouts (what I actually use becuse the Google Voice interface is horrible) Messages Google Voice
