Well darn. If Amazon had a Fire Tablet with 4G connectivity I would have bought it.
@bradenslen the Fire tablets have become nice tablets, if you don't need all of the apps from the Google Play store. Of course, you can always go grab the APK from a trusted source.
@joelhamill The Fire tablets are a lot of bang for the buck. What I like is that Amazon's fork of Android is probably not sending reports back to Google. Sure it's sending reports back to Amazon, but they already know everything I buy anyway.
@bradenslen I bought a new HD 10 this weekend becuase for $75, well, why not. And it is much nicer than the 2017 release I have been using - faster, lighter, better display, better layout, usb-c - I was happily surprised by the update.
