@joelhamill I’m currently using Kiko with custom CSS. I really love Hello, but get bummed every time I see it not support On This Day.
@joelhamill Typewriter with some CSS and theme template tinkering - want a fairly plain text-based and old fashioned look … until I change my mind ;)
@joelhamill kiko with some CSS here and there. I have tried them all Kiko, Marfa and Hello being my favorites but always end up back to kiko eventually
@joelhamill I like the simplicity of Lanyon and added in the Search Page and Open Graph Cards plug-ins
@TheDimPause Thanks! To me the ability to change the way your site looks easily with a theme is one of the benefits of micro.blog.
@gregmoore Thanks for sharing! I do like the darker sites that I have been seeing lately. They are more relaxing on the eyes imho.
@Gabz Thanks! I am going to guess that the typography of your site is part of the CSS since it varies slightly from the other Kiko sites I’ve seen. I do like the dark background, but am not really a fan of the line between posts.
@mroutley Thanks! I like the simplicity of Lanyon as well. That may be what I choose to try next.
@joelhamill The CSS I used for Kiko found it here around my forst year here in Mb. I have modified this over the years in many ways, including removing the lines in between.
@joelhamill The dark mode is very easy to add since it’s a Micro.blog plugin. It’s a nice consideration to not blind visitors reading at night.
@gregmoore Indeed. I’ve already added it to my site. It was super simple, just click a button, which is always nice when you’re just trying things to see how they work/look.
