Our Athens apartment has two canisters, one labeled Coffee and the other Sugar. One of these is a lie. How do I know?
Because this is the first time I’ve ever drank a lungo coffee with salt. ☕️🧂🤢🇬🇷

Oh NASTY! Pitooey!
Though I may have intentionally done such 'mislabeling' during my youth...
@MrRooni I wish I had recorded my reaction. I know I had flashbacks for hours afterwards. 😄 I’ll never make that assumption again.
@KevinHoctor “I’ll sugar my own coffee, thank you”, says Kevin to the waitress at the diner as he pulls a small ziplock bag from his travel pouch. #flashforward
@KevinHoctor
A little salt takes away the bitterness apparently, but not a teaspoon or more. I drink my coffee black … ☕️
@KevinHoctor I once had a similar incident at a diner. I poured sugar on French fries, thinking it was salt. Actually turned out to be pretty good.
@joec You don’t make it sound like a similar experience! I almost died the death!!! 😆
@caspercdn I prefer cappuccino or espresso to coffee and I do drink them without sugar, if they’re high quality. But the Nespresso machine in this apartment doesn’t pull the greatest shot.
@KevinHoctor
Didn’t know there was a name for it but sure. I prefer to drink my coffee slower than a regular espresso permits.
