@manton Do newsletters from test blogs get sent out, or are they blocked? I'm trying to troubleshoot an emailed newsletter issue with the "more" tag in my template without posting to my main blog. I see the email get queued up, but then it's never delivered to my subscribed email. Thanks.
@jimmitchell They shouldnât be blocked. So theyâre showing as queued up in the interface but donât get sent after 30 minutes has passed?
@manton D'oh. Silly me... đ I should have checked logs before bugging you about it. I had what must be an unsupported Hugo function in the template that caused an error. I've updated the template and am testing again. I'll follow up if I have any further troubles. Thanks for the quick reply.
@jimmitchell Ah, maybe I can add an extra check later for syntax. Newsletters arenât processed by Hugo itself so not everything is available. Itâs like a slimmed down version of what you can do with Hugo.
@manton Thanks, but I wouldnât put that one on the backlog as a high priority by any means. The help doc for email templates is pretty clear if Iâd have read it better. This oneâs on me.
