@jeremycherfas This is one of the issues that helps to jog my memory as to why I am holding off from much photoblogging at the minute. Between forthcoming upates to Sunlit and the continued progress of Bokeh, I feel optimistic that I will be able to soon entirely dismiss the virtues of Instagram.
@simonwoods The main virtues of Instagram for me are that nmost of my friends are there and won't move, and there is a greater chance I will attract someone fresh to the podcast there than anywhere else. But I'd still like to put the pictures on my own site too without being completely manual about it.
@jeremycherfas Yep, same here; I'll use the silos as basic broadcasting tools when relevant but for personal use with Instagram I have a plan. I'll keep the Instagram account but will leave links (lol, I mean a link) to the relevant active places once I'm all set to go, and then will log out of Instagram, delete the app, and never look at it again.
I like POSSE as a philosophy but am unlikely to implement it in its current state. Too much fiddling and busy work to fit into my life, though I do keep an eye out for improvements to the environment.
