A question for all you iOS users who study apps: What do you use to organize travel?

I am at one of those events where you need addresses, times, door codes, etc., at your fingertips, but they are all in an email you can’t find with spotty network service.

@Pilchuck Well, there's something to that. I was hoping for something a little more clickable. My handwriting sucks.

@cliffordbeshers I’ve used Tripsy for this sort of thing, but a tad pricy if you’re not using it regularly. A planning document in Notes works well tho.

@cliffordbeshers I usually put this info right into my calendar. The notes section of a flight might have rental car details and contact numbers for lodging, for example.

@fgtech I think that is the right solution for me. Thank you.

@cliffordbeshers @fgtech This is the way. I print to pdf all a paperwork and have them cashed offline using Nextcloud, but any file storage will do. Then I copy the most salient details (dates, times, numbers, addresses) into the calendar. I put critical things like airline located codes into the title so I can quickly glance down and find them. I’ll usually also put things like embassy/consulate info in my contacts.

@cliffordbeshers in the past TripIt. Nowadays a page in Craft with all the travel details and documents uploaded to it. Complete with my departure and arrival day timelines. :)
