I’ve been using Apple Podcasts for the last few months, but it’s slow sync is causing me to look elsewhere again. I’ve setup Overcast again, but something about it feels dated these days. Considering PocketCasts since it’s the only one that has apps on Mac, iPhone, and iPad.

@philbowell suggestion: try Castro also. I like it better than the alternatives

@jemostrom I’ve tried it in the past. I liked it but the fact it was iPhone only frustrated me, quite often use my iPad to listen to podcasts when I’m at home.

@philbowell I recently switched from Overcast to Pocket Casts and have been very impressed so far. I really appreciate its support for video podcasts and the ability to side load audio files without having to upload in a web interface (which is how Overcast implements it).

@mdrockwell @philbowell Long time Pocket Casts user and it really is great. Hands down the best Apple Watch app, solid sync and well made app generally. I have been trying out other options recently since Pocket Casts has been up for sale and haven't found anything as good. 🤞🏼that it lands in a good place after the sale.
