I have a question about Crocs (the light, plastic shoes). Someone made a claim that they are coming back to fashion big time. This surely can’t be true, can it?
@tkoola I don’t think they were ever “in fashion”, they were just popular because they are so comfortable!
@toddgrotenhuis that was always my understanding as well. I thought they were relegated to summer house garden shoes after their initial success
@tkoola I’ve used “Crooks”, (fake Crocs) as my main shoes for many years. Bought real Crocs just last year. Now they are my main shoes.🐊
@tkoola A few years ago, I walked the Camino and was amused by the number of fellow pilgrims, including myself changing into our crocs at the end of a days walking. Almost no extra weight to carry and very practical.
@tkoola Strange but true, I don't use themselves for a very practical reason ... my toes are too long => they hit the front all the time and after a while it hurts. I got a pair of crocs sandals which works fine for short errands around the house. Crocs outside in the winter => very slippery
