@jack honest question, are Leica really worth the money? Note: I don't think I've ever touched a Leica (possible when I was around 12-13 but I don't think so). Are the images really so much better? The ergonomics? I don't really understand why they are so popular when they are so expensive.

@jemostrom That's hard to answer. They're probably too expensive. For me it's a combination of qualities: engineering, build quality, design language, aesthetics, haptics, and even Leica's story/history. If any of those things isn't important to you, then a Leica is just an overpriced camera that takes basically the same photos as many other cameras. Their lenses are hard to beat, though! Just picking up and handling an M makes me giddy after all these years. That's worth a lot to me, personally. One of the factors for selling the Q is that it doesn't have the same feel.

@jack Thanks for the answer. I completely understand the "feel right" part, this is something that it's an important part of my purchase decisions. Sometime I must try a Leica, take a few photos and just see how I like it. I can't see that I would ever buy one, it's completely out of my spending budget (the last camera I bought was a second hand one costed me about $150). But I'm very interested in one of these monochrome cameras, I like B&W and it would be quite interesting to see if such a camera would have a noticeable result on my photos.
