@grubz i definitely misd the days of Xanga and Geocities. There was no such thing as "going viral" and people just posted because they wanted to. I think this still exists in a little part of the Indieweb now (or at least trying to) and it's been a breath of fresh air.

(Also, I initially found you on Bear. Looking forward to your posts on there!)

@jedda I think so too. It's been nice slowly discovering random blogs I vibe with here and now on Bear. that was fast by the way! lol just started setting my account up over there a couple hours ago. I like it so far

@jedda @grubz I'm definitely with you on a love for regular bloggers day to day life stuff over striving for viral content. I'm also about to be with you as I love my Living Out Loud blog over to Bear this weekend. I want more of a community than I am getting on Scribbles, although I do plan to leave my AppAddict blog there.

@amerpie nice! I like it so far, the way the trending/latest feed works is really cool.

@grubz I follow the recent + trending feed and came across your post... I think the timing aligned because I was checking my feed when you posted haha... and agreed with what you had said, so I figured I'd reach out.

@amerpie looking forward to your posts on there! Bear has an alias feature for both post url and rss feed, so people may not need to update their rss feeds when you do switch.
