@BestofTimes I'm been using the DT3 beta since it went to internal beta in January. I've been loving it since, with the new public beta they've stamped out all the obvious bugs. When pricing became available I flip flopped with Pro vs Server for about a day, then purchased a license for Server and an extra seat. Well worth the cost in my opinion if you need to use DEVONthink on a Windows machine, much better than DTPO 2 Server. I'll miss the three pane view, but towards the end I really didn't use it much. I was a little put out they moved Tags to the Global area, instead of visible inside the database, but I've come to accept it and it's nice to know exactly where the Tags are no matter which database I'm in.
@BestofTimes Yes, I've been using if for a couple of months and have had no significant issues with the 4 databases I use regularly. I like nearly all of the decisions they made with v3. Still getting used to the sidebar, though.
@jack @joshsullivan Thanks for that advice. It sounds like it’s already pretty safe to move to DEVONthink 3.0 so I’ll do that tonight.
@joshsullivan is there just one set of tags now? Like every database doesn’t have its own set?
@adrianizq No, tags are per database, but they do display in the global location. Once click the disclosure triangle next to Tags it will display the Database names in a tag format then inside each database "tag" will be the tags for that specific database.
