Truly terrible brownies from The Kitchn: sugar didn’t properly dissolve and pieces without copious chocolate chips tasted like oil 😠Yuck! Reading more, sounds as though the recipe technique is poor and it may not have enough water. Also, mixing in the pan was ridiculous. A disappointment.
@tracydurnell Oh no! Can you break them up and mix them through icecream to salvage the ingredients?
@circustiger my husband thinks they taste fine so I'm letting him have them -- but I do think a la mode would help!
@jayeless right?! It's almost an insult too when it's something that's fine from a box mix, like why did I spend the effort huh? 😂
