Interesting feeling I had just now. I was drafting a reply in Micro.blog which I chose not to post. And yet, it feels like I’ve posted it. Wonder if that falls into the same sort of fallacy as the one where talking about what you’ll do feels like you’ve actually done it. 🤔

@lmika Quick ChatGPT question and Wikipedia search indicates that the fallacy I was referring to was the Illusory Truth Effect: the "tendency to believe false information to be correct after repeated exposure". So probably not quite the same feeling I was experiencing.

@lmika That's why I have a private "Journalling" app, that also acts kind of like my own social network with no followers. It's like shouting into the void, but it still feels like I got it posted somewhere 😉
