After my bad experience a few days ago, today I’m getting recurring “shocks” in my arm, running down the same path that hurt during that blood draw. I’d say particularly when I straighten my arm, but also if I bend my hand forward, or move the arm… Guess I need to see a doctor, huh.

@jayeless Yikes sorry to hear about your blood draw incident. Whether you go see a doctor, or not, I hope that you feel better soon and that all is well.

@jayeless Blimmin heck! Definitely see a doctor. Maybe the needle actually damaged something?

@jayeless A doc, absolutely yes. I'm guessing from my past experience (I was a massage therapist) that it will heal and be okay eventually, but definitely get it evaluated. If it does become problematic it will be helpful with insurance and other clinicians to have the clear path you took in dealing with it.

@jayeless Doctor visit much recommended! You'll be able to understand what happened and how to correct it. Hope it gets better soon!

@jayeless Oh no, that sucks. Sounds like nerve pain and spasms to me, but definitely needs a doctor visit. Hopefully it’s just from the needle hitting a bad spot and will heal soon.

@jeffreyince @Miraz @hollie @Portufraise @pimoore Thanks for the sympathy, everyone! A doctors appointment has been made, but it won't be until tomorrow. I am expecting that it's not a big deal and will heal soon, but I guess I should do my due diligence and get it checked :)
