@jayeless It’s crazy, right? I still remember the feeling from when I got my first pair. I had a newspaper right in front of me for the test. It was one of those night and day situations, impressive. Enjoy the new world.
@maique It's unbelievable! I didn't even think my vision was bad (could read signs at a distance, etc.) but it pales in comparison to what I have now!
@jayeless I still remember the first day I got my glasses as well. You never realize how bad your vision is until you start using glases.
@jayeless Haha! Reminds me of my son when he got his first pair - Wow! Everything is so clear ☺️
@jayeless Congrats! The frames look great on you too. It’s strange how we adjust a lot when not having glasses. I got my first pair in 2010, but should probably have done it much sooner. Subtitles on movies will be a breeze now!
@jakelacaze Yeah, my vision sounds similar to yours. Apparently I'm short-sighted in my left eye, but not at all in my right eye, so my brain could compensate – things didn't seem overly blurry. But my right eye turns out to have a mild astigmatism, so I got glasses that fix both issues. I've definitely noticed at the movies that text on the screen has seemed streaky – I'm assuming my glasses will fix that issue 🙂
