@jayeless well, I have the same north and south as you. West: Chiloé, Chile East: Vienna, Austria
@leonp Ah, not bad! I visited Chile as well, on the same trip that took me to Argentina and Uruguay. The east/west definitely vary a lot depending on where in the world you start from.
@jayeless Chiloé was incredibly boring, disappointingly enough. Ushuaia was great, though – climbed a glacier and saw the seals.
Ask where's the North? at York, 'tis on the Tweed; In Scotland, at the Orcades; and there, At Greenland, Zembla, or the Lord knows where:
@leonp I didn't climb any glaciers while I was there (that's pretty cool though 😃), but I did think Ushuaia was beautiful! One of the most charming places I've been.
Here I don't think we even really talk about "the North" – closest'd be "north of the divide", which just means north of this dinky little mountain range that, for the portion where the highway runs through it north of Melbourne, is basically just a chain of hills 😆 (Further east it at least grows into moderate mountains.)
