Gidget is home from her surgery! She’s frustrated, in some pain I think, and struggling to get around (she’s supposed to minimise that anyway, of course – certainly no jumping or running). Viv and I are gonna have a “sleepover” in the living room to keep her company overnight. ❤️

It's been a challenging night (she does not know how to use a litter tray with a bandaged leg, and she's really resistant to help 😓 – and she also feels nothing but contempt for the vet's "no running or jumping" instructions) but we're getting through it. Like you guys, @Pilchuck, we love her so dearly and she might also need further surgeries down the road (apparently her legs are just extremely deformed 😔)… the costs will definitely add up but as my dad says, "no one gets a pet (or has children) to make money." We'll be doing everything we can to help her 🥰
