One of the (Nordic) sports streaming services carries women’s football. I find it fascinating that (Danish) ads shown at half-time are still targeted at what I would assume advertisers think as “men”. I don’t know exactly what to think about this.

@tkoola One of the things that I think has surprised some people with the rise of women's sports here is that they are genuinely popular with male spectators as well. Like you'll see dads with their sons going to the cricket or the footy, and the kids with facepaint and jerseys with players' names on them etc. just as you would at a men's game, which is really cool. I do think it's questionable if all the ads are "stereotypically male audience"-type ads, just as it would be questionable if all the ads were aimed at women, though! It should really be a mix 🙂
