@Miraz Thank you for the interesting link! As an Australian, I find NZ accents really varied – some sound almost the same as my own accent, while others are very different. It’d be neat to see how and why all that variation has emerged 😄
@jayeless I’d like to know more about it all too. I guess Kiwis are most famous for our “fush and chups” pronunciation…
@Miraz Haha, certainly over here, yes, but then I’ve had NZ friends insist to me that the way we pronounce it is “feesh and cheeps” 😉
@Miraz I don’t forget that Kiwi woman on the Graham Norton Show talking about “having six”, where he unraveled it’s meaning.
