When people say they’re “useless until I’ve had my morning coffee”, they’re referring to the debilitating headaches, right? Otherwise, how have I got my body to the point that I just have two cups a day, but get sleep-wrecking withdrawal headaches from 4am until I’ve had them??

@AlanGMarz I'll admit that a few months ago I started having an afternoon cup of tea most (but not all) days… so is it now that I have to have it, every day, to avoid headaches? It just doesn't seem fair that my tasty treat can now be used against me 😠

@AlanGMarz Ouch, that is a lot. I remember being surprised when I visited the UK at how extremely expensive takeaway coffee is there. My partner spends about $5 a day on coffee, which I guess adds up to more than $1,800 over a year. Me, I brew my coffee in a plunger for about $9 a fortnight… (plus the cost of the milk, admittedly)
