Customization easily becomes complexity. How much is too much? For Tinypost I landed on two settings: light or dark, plus an accent color. Enough to feel like yours. Not enough to turn into a site builder. Hopefully :) tinypost.blog

@simonbc Seems like a good place to start! Not overwhelming. An ‘automatic’ option to follow the mode of the device?
@jarrod yeah, that’s a good idea actually. It’s more of an app behaviour, I think, but I can see users wanting to just make the blog follow the readers’ preference.
