@_Davidsmith As the Pedometer++ guy and über-hiker, do you also see the wild inaccuracy of the Apple Watch Ultra’s GPS and elevation counter on long hikes? Mine is like 30-50% off (too high) every time. Thought the Ultra 3 would be better, but it’s perhaps worse! It’s maddening.

@_Davidsmith I typically use the built-in Workout app to track. When I track with Gaia on my iPhone concurrently, the phone is far more accurate — even when they’re both on my person the entire time.

@jarrod I haven't noticed it to that degree, but I do find that the iPhone's GPS often better than the Apple Watch (particularly when the watch is in low power mode).

@_Davidsmith Hmm. Good to know. My only guess is that tree cover really doesn’t play well with the watch’s signal. It’s disappointing because my friends with other fitness watches don’t have the same problem. You don’t have any control over the GPS tracking in Pedometer++ do you?
