🆕📝 Post-Apple Event Gadget Waffling

Thinking through what's going in the shopping cart this time.

@jarrod Mostly same for me: Ultra 3, iPhone Pro Max.. I live by the AirPods, so that’s already ordered.

Nothing “surprising” this year; fold will tempt me next year.

@jarrod Well, I guess my Apple Watch Ultra 3 order wasn’t as cut and dry as I thought. I waffled a little more and decided I want to keep the Ultra 1 as a backup and for its better overnight health sensors. And I don’t need the more extravagant Milanese Loop band. So I canceled and re-ordered with the old Series 5 as the trade-in.

But then thought better of it again and canceled and re-ordered without any trade-in. I can get much more than $30 for a Series 5 by selling it myself.

I’m very thankful for Apple’s easy ordering/canceling system, but it did push back my delivery date to early October.

@jarrod a series 5! Did you upgrade from a 5 to Ultra 1 (and now an Ultra 3?), or was it just a watch you had around to consider destashing? If the former is true, what a leap!
