🤬 Great! Wake up at 5 something AM, and find out the guy who managed the Kagi Family account on Sharesub decided to close it down. I am now family-less, and Kagi-less!

@maique If we can find one more person, I’d be happy to switch mine to family and call it ~€36/yr if you were up for annual and open to trusting a stranger (aka me) without a middleman service. (Math for transparency: Family plan is $216 USD = ~€202; divided by 6 possible users = €33.66 and a little extra for tax)
Thanks to @humdrum , and a few other social.lol family members, the problem seems to be sorted an hour later.
That’s efficiency, if I ever saw it!
@andyn No, it was all done via Sharesub, they act as escrow. It was a monthly sub, which kind of annoyed me, and left us open to this sort of situation. I’d rather go annual and not worry about it anymore.
@andyn That’s a fact. When it works, it’s good. But you don’t know the person, and they can just close shop whenever they want.
@maique I’ve never heard of ShareSub before. Fascinating! (Although not in this particular case.)
@jarrod There are a number of these, but Sharesub gets good reviews. It works. Mostly for more mainstream services.
