🆕📝 Apple is straight-up telling us to lie

Is this the first time that an Apple ad has actively promoted lying to one another?

@jarrod I think marketing it this way is natural given the values that is behind Ai. It’s a belief that mediocrity, dishonesty, not caring ane bullshit are totally OK and that people don’t deserve anything better than that.

@jarrod have not seen them until now. But yes, they are bad. The only one I would give slide is the one with remembereding the names. It is an issue I have and I can never remember the faces and names of people. And it just gets old when you constantly need to ask again. Especially if it happens multiple times.

@torb So either the Apple marketing team has hidden the unmorality (not sure if this is a word) into these ads. Or they used a different team to make these ads – which is infected by the AI virus.

@torb Perhaps you’re right. It seems there are far fewer people who care than I would prefer. 😔

@V_ I could have let it slide right up until the end when she says she remembered his name as soon as she saw him. It’s the extra little flourish that was damning for me.
