So… is anyone still trying to #CloseYourRings on your Apple Watch? I gave up on my streak long ago and, although I feel good about the days that I do close them all, it’s not something I specifically aim for anymore.

@jarrod streaks I struggle with bit with closing my rings is still a huge focus of mine. Full time wearer ever since Series 0. I use the Gentler Streak apps for streaks instead

@jonathangulbrandsen Gentler Streak is nice, but I don’t really keep up with that either.

@jarrod I used to make it part of my personality. Then I missed a day and it felt soo crushing. Knowing that I had a streak and then boom.

I feel it’s helpful in some circumstances, but falls down sometimes.

@jarrod in general, yes! I don't worry about a "streak", but it's a nice gentle reminder to keep moving.

I like how Apple Health shows trends and wish that closing rings was similarly focused.

@jarrod Nah. Gave up on that a long time ago too. I know when I’ve been active enough for me. Sometimes more, sometimes less, but I’m always moving, so it means I’m not dead yet.

@jarrod This is still a huge motivator for me. I don’t care about keeping up a streak, but typically will close mine 6 days out of the week.

@ibmacin Looking back at the history, it looks like I’m typically hitting 5 or 6 days a week. 💪

@jarrod Same here. It used to be something I strived for, but inevitably life gets in the way. I’m still pretty happy with closing them all a couple/few times a week. And, less stress about it!

@jarrod I use my rings as a goal for each day, but I don’t try to keep any streak going.

@jarrod Yep, I started 3-4 months after getting my first Apple Watch. Unfortunately something happened to the Fitness app last year so it have lost the correct count … so I keep track of it using another app.
