I’ve been using Things for — goodness — 7 years now and every time I save a task with the share extension I think, “Surely @things@mastodon.online will add ‘When?’ menu so I can set a due date on this task soon.” And yet, here we are! Line me up for that football kick again, Lucy!

He's not the only one! This little feature is one of the only sources of friction for dumping all sorts stuff into my lists!

@quiddle @jarrod Well you can already dump items into lists—this is about adding When and other fields.

@things @jarrod That is absolutely true! However, I really like to date things as they enter my system (my Inbox hygiene is terrible). Because I can't add a date, I end up not adding things at all…
