One of the best pieces of writing advice is not to overuse the word “that.” If a sentence still makes sense without it, don’t put it in. It’s glorious.

@jarrod That is good advice that I will try to remember, that.

@odd @jarrod It translates to Norwegian too. We use way to much “Det”, (that), and it slows down the conversation. Maybe just the reason for it being there, so one can buy time to think(?) But overly used anyway…
