I just had a new furnace and water heater installed. The old furnace was 29 years old, the old water heater was 15 years old. I am ready for winter. (Or at least my house is.)
@jarrod I got the Model ELU-120WBN condensing unit (https://www.htproducts.com/eliteultra.html).
Both the furnace and water heater are far more efficient. The furnace no longer has a loud fan that I could hear throughout the house. The water heater now feeds off of the furnace, no pilot light.
