@jarrod I forgot about Copilot. I had tried it once but didnāt stick with it. You may have heard about the Mint debacle so I was looking to switch. What do you think about it and how often do you use it?
I see that Copilot folks are working on a feature to import and backfill Mint transactions data. I hope they develop it in time.
@pratik I used to use Mint, and actually liked it pretty well. I donāt remember what prompted me to switch a few years ago.
But I use Copilot much the same. Import and categorize all transactions and keep an eye on how they compare to my rough budget for the month. I used to be more particular about micromanaging my budget, but donāt feel the need anymore. Copilot just helps me stay on the rails and see everything in one place.
@jarrod Inspired by @joshginter, here are my home screens here at the end of 2023 too.
@joshginter @jarrod Play is an excellent watch later app from @mactanaka. I use it mostly for saving, organizing, and playing back YouTube videos, though it can save videos from other sources as well. I love the auto tagging feature, Shortcuts support, and widgets. Plus thereās a big 2.0 update Iāve been testing and am quite excited for. š https://apps.apple.com/us/app/play-save-videos-watch-later/id1596506190
@devondundee looks great and thankyou for the link because I had the devil of a job finding it ⦠also .. hesitant .. since 95% of my YouTube watching is on AppleTV .. but the app is even there ⦠very cool.
@me Yes! Itās really great being able to save videos on my phone and then watch them on the TV. If you put Play in the top row of apps, you can even launch videos right from the Apple TV Home Screen.
@devondundee @jarrod @mactanaka I'm so embarrassed I didn't know this existed. I'm going to give it a download today and check it out.
Thanks for the recommendation!
This default apps thing has opened my eyeballs to a few new apps. Awesome stuff.
