App Defaults has gone a bit bonkers: 46 blog posts now!
Also new:
- An RSS feed for new posts: https://defaults.rknight.me/feed.xml
- An OPML file if you want to import everyone's feeds into your feed reader: https://defaults.rknight.me/opml.xml

@robb Youāre the hero none of us deserve. š¦øāāļø What a neat idea to collect them up in an RSS feed. Thanks!
@robb do I need to post mine somewhere if I don't have a blog, I just took your original post saying I could send to you
@robb @canion @HemisphericViews I think we might have a new Supreme Default on the leaderboard with @alexink! Just look at that clean sweep. Canāt even dock her for Reeder since thereās no built-in RSS reader anymore AFAIK. š
@pauls I need somewhere to link to but you could post it here and I can link to the toot

@jarrod @rknightuk @canion @HemisphericViews And perhaps the least defaulty of the defaults so far in @gMoon. Iāve never even heard of half of these!
@robb Youāve all inspired me :)
@Ronnie I have a note to do something like that but I need it to slow down first š
@robb Loving this so much. Also crazy enough to import the OPML file. Thought Iād pass along a few errors I got from Feedly. It didnāt like a certain Robb Knightās feed š

@robb You (and @s3thi) have nerd sniped me. Here's my list: https://notes.abhinavsarkar.net/2023/default-apps
@robb I've never quite understood the need for Bookmark Managers. I just drop everything in Notes.
I really have tried to slim my app/SAAS subscriptions down recently as it's easy for $5 and $10pcm there to add up.
Also, one notable omission from these App Defaults (which to be fair wasn't mentioned in the @hemisphericviews podcast) is the Weather App.
@andycarolan I have _a lot_ of links so notes or similar just wouldn't work for me (see https://intersect.rknight.me/).
I get it though, I have no interest in paying for things like bookmarking.
@robb That's a really good idea. I think if you can spin one up on your own site, it's a far better idea than paying for yet another service.
@ravipatel I noticed that they have a free tier. Looks pretty comprehensive too @robb
@andycarolan @robb Thatās what i meant. I use the free tier and itās brilliant.
@pimoore Iām sure itās not as feature rich as a dedicated manager, but itās āfreeā and imo works well @robb @hemisphericviews
@robb this is my contribution to the growing list of "deafult apps";
