Even as a satisfied Plausible analytics subscriber (see current analytics), I proudly support @tinylytics on my blog (see current analytics). I paid for a year to show my support in a more concrete manner.

@kq read your post and I can understand that. I wanted to give the "👍🏻" to my posts so people could react in a minimalistic matter. I get analytics as a bonus! And I support a cool guy too! cc @vincent

@numericcitizen I'm facing a paralysis of choice in analytics. I've been using Clicky on my main blog since moving to Blot b/c of built-in integration, and it being free and non-creepy. But it has limited history. For a while, I've been trying Beam Analytics b/c, again, free, much prettier, and longer history. @vincent comes along with Tinylytics, and I'm all on board because he makes great stuff, but it doesn't have everything I'm looking for (yet). I found out about Goat Analytics and am giving that a shot b/c it's free, non-creepy, and it's kinda cool to see traffic over time for individual pages. I've had my eye on Plausible b/c it's the prettiest and has everything I'd want without cramming in too much, but I can't justify $90 a year for it. In my heart, I know I'm just going to end up using Tinylytics, but it's so interesting to compare. The kicker? I don't look at or care about the stats all that much!

@jarrod I’ve been much like you, bouncing to and from different analytic services for ages. For me, Tinylytics strikes the right balance between speed, information (not too much), privacy, and ease. Plus it’s very actively developed by someone who is responsive and listens to feedback. On top of that, he has gone above and beyond to make sure everything works perfectly with micro.blog. To make a long story a little shorter, I recommend Tinylytics by @vincent.

@numericcitizen I'm teetering on the same move. Thinking I'll dive in once the date filtering has some shortcuts ("today", "last 7 days" etc.) Typing or choosing 2 dates each time is just waaaay too much work :).

@jack I’ll add those date shortcuts in the coming week. Just kept it simple last week. Although it should show a native date picker… without you having to type it (is this not the case for you?). Also you can use either “from”, “to” or both at the same time.

@vincent I did see you mentioned it was coming, so thanks! Picking the dates isn't hard at all, but you know how us pesky "users" are. :) Tinylytics is quite nice.

@kq I'm just pulling your leg 😅 Actually, one big turn off from other analytics software is that trap you talk about that – I'm hoping to make things a little bit more "JOMO" – I've been asked about trends, but don't think I want to do it (or have it enabled by default if I do, do it). I think trends can be emotionally/mentally taxing. Glad you got the email.

@jack Thanks. I need to add “Yesterday”… forgot about that one. Let me know if you want more.

@vincent what if... you could click/tap a graph bar for a day, and that automatically applied a filter for that day? Just thinking out loud.
