I’m kind of leaning into the Threads algorithm by following way more accounts than on other social networks. See someone’s post that I like? Followed! If it’s going to show me random stuff anyway, I might as well tune it more to my liking. Micro.blog is where I follow folks who I don’t want to miss.

@jarrod I tried Threads. I'm being recommended random users that don't match my interests. I was shown Kardashian's mum in my feed. I was like, go away. Why are you here?!

@maique I keep waiting for my percentage of randos to go down like everyone’s said it does. Maybe my follows just aren’t posting as much.

@jarrod I do feel tangled up with the app. So deleted it after playing for few days.

@jarrod I do this too 😆 along with muting every single (toxic) positivity account or post I see. I want a touch of reality every now and then 😝

@jarrod I usually do that in the Twitter For You feed, but in Threads it just seems so... obnoxiously there 😆 so I mute it, in the hopes that the ✨ algorithm ✨ eventually understands what I wanna see. 😝
