@gr36 A good point! And still, it does feel good to be smiled at. I'm not running back toward Like buttons, and I don't have the creativity to come up with the "right" solution. But it makes me wonder if there's something worthwhile in-between. For now, I'm still content with the more deliberate feedback facilitated by reply-only communities like Micro.blog.
