There’s a flock of Cedar Waxwings in the neighborhood. They are the cartoon bandits of the bird world, masked and outlandishly dressed, getting drunk on fermented berries and starting fights.

@cliffordbeshers So they get drunk? Well, that explains their partying. Usually see them in mobs when the berries are on. And in winter they’re only ones eating highbush cranberries, which you’d have to be drunk to eat
