@jaek Hey, thanks for sharing this. Your source is sound advice but it shows exactly why I prefer the 'Zettelkasten' approach. Let's say you try to write an outline as they suggest. 'Disadvantages of Capitalism' is one subheading. But what am I supposed to write? My head's empty! But by writing small linked notes continuously I always have something ready to write. Lift one note and a whole heap of relevant notes lift behind it. Outlines are great - until you have to write the actual text.

@writingslowly I've been thinking about this a lot lately. Something like "you have to know what's out there before you can go learn more about it". Building out a zettelkasten seems like a great way to broaden (and deepen) my knowledge of what is out there so I have more to pull from when I'm writing!
