I’m lightly considering getting a new domain name. SEO is seemingly impossible with “inthetrees.me.” Yeah SEO is bleh but it is kinda important.
@jade When MacKenzie Scott (Jeff Bezos' ex) married Daniel Jewett my website terribleideas.me went from page one to page one-thousand. Think I'd have better search results if I changed my name instead of my domain. 🙂
@terribleideas oml page 1,000 is insane. I searched "dan jewett blog" on Google and could not find you; searching the same with Kagi has both your sites in the top 3 results. I think this actually convinced me to renew my subscription to Kagi.
