I now have my first music YouTube video to reach 10K views. Granted it took it 5.5 years to get there, and it’s my oldest one - the cover of Aqualung solo. It did pick up pace recently, for whatever reason. Maybe my change of thumbnail. Whatever, just a meaningless achievement.

@jacob being in the flow is great once you connect into it. Sometimes it’s getting there in the first place that’s the challenge.
@hollyhoneychurch Right. Once I get into writing or production, it often flows pretty good. But deciding to work on music instead of just fooling around or practicing, is still a challenge.
@jacob that’s interesting - I’m the opposite. I love recording and find it hard just to jam without the recorder being on. I never know what magic will be captured. I also like to record a lot because it gets me used to the concept. I find I get nervous so the more it’s on, the more I forget about it. Makes editing the piece challenging sometimes though 😄
